Akkeshi Usui Blended is a Japanese blended whisky from Hokkaido, made by combining several single malts with grain whiskies. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in Japanese oak casks, and the wood gives the nose a light smokiness.
The nose brings vanilla, honey and dried fruit. On the palate there is caramel, gentle spice and a marine note, and the finish is long and warm, leaving a clean, slightly toasted aftertaste.
