Harmonie is a French malt whisky from Alfred Giraud, drawn from three French malt distillates. Most of the maturation takes place in hand-selected, very old Cognac casks, with new French Limousin oak and American oak also shaping the blend. After a period in extra-old Cognac casks, it is married with a lightly peated French malt and finished again in those casks.
It is bottled at 46.1% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Extra-old Cognac oak and a gentle smokiness lead into fruit and floral notes with a touch of peat, ending long and pleasantly sweet.
