A Merlot from Alois Lageder, grown on the hills of Alto Adige. After careful fermentation and ageing, often in oak barriques, it develops a complex bouquet of ripe cherry, berry fruit and delicate spicy notes.
The body is enveloping, with soft tannins balanced by fresh acidity, giving a pleasant, dynamic persistence. It accompanies red meat, game and aged cheeses, offering a balance of elegance and structure typical of Alto Adige.
