Alpestre Hermite Amaro (70cl)

Alpestre Hermite is an amaro from northern Italy, made with aromatic plants typical of the Alpine regions. It is dark amber in colour. The nose brings together alpine herbs, roots and spices, with gentian, lemon balm, mint and a faint trace of aniseed. On the palate sweetness and bitterness sit in balance, starting softly herbal and moving into a long, pleasantly bitter finish, with a smooth, enveloping texture. It is usually drunk after a meal, chilled or at room temperature, and also works in cocktails. A slice of orange or lemon brings out its aromas.
