Alpine Triple Oak is a Utah straight bourbon whiskey bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is aged for an additional year in toasted, quarter-sawed American oak with hand-split French oak heads.
The nose brings caramel, pear, dried apricot, vanilla and honey, with straw and orange peel lingering. The palate is creamy, with caramel, molasses, caramelised apples, chocolate, cinnamon, almond, hazelnut and grain.
The finish is chewy and vibrant, with brioche, doughnuts, roasted nuts and toast.
