This is the second release of Amador 10-Barrel, created by Miles and Marko Karakasevic, the master distillers at Charbay Distillery.
It blends 60% straight malt whiskey with 40% hop-flavoured whiskey distilled from a craft IPA beer. The two parts were aged separately for over two years in French oak wine barrels. They were then married in family Chardonnay barrels for a further two years before bottling.
