Amahagan Edition Nr. 3 is a Japanese whisky from Nagano Prefecture, given a final maturation in Mizunara casks. Mizunara is a rare oak native to Japan. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
Vanilla, honey and sweet spice mingle on the nose with incense and aromatic wood. The palate is soft, rounded and balanced, and the long finish leaves dried fruit and a little smoke.
