Edition Nr. 5 from Amahagan is a Japanese whisky made in Miyazaki prefecture. It has a long maturation in oak, followed by a finish in casks that previously held sherry. The nose is dried fruit, with figs and walnuts, alongside spice and vanilla. The palate is rich and velvety, balancing sweetness, soft tannins and a light touch of candied orange.
