Amahagan World Malt Whisky Edition No.1 Bourbon Cask Finish (70cl, 47%)

Amahagan World Malt Whisky Edition No.1 is the first blended malt from the Nagahama distillery, one of Japan's newest and smallest. It combines malt whisky from the distillery with a selection of malts from overseas, and it has a bourbon cask finish. It is bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It won a bronze medal at the World Whisky Awards in 2020. On the nose there is orange, chocolate and vanilla, with nutty notes from the oak. The palate brings rich orange and apple fruit with a crisp malt sweetness from the Nagahama new make, followed by a medium, fruity finish.
