Amaro Camatti (70cl, 30%)

An amaro from Sangallo Distilleria Cinque Terre, made to a traditional herbal recipe. Amber to dark brown in colour, it has a complex nose of aromatic herbs, roots and spices, including gentian, chamomile and liquorice. On the palate it is enveloping and rich, balancing initial sweetness with a pleasantly bitter finish. It can be served neat or over ice as a digestif, or used as a base for cocktails, at room temperature or slightly chilled.
