Amaro Lucano (70cl)

An Italian amaro produced since 1894 in Basilicata from an infusion and subsequent distillation of over 30 carefully selected aromatic herbs. It has a dark brown colour with mahogany to rust reflections. The nose is rich, with predominant notes of orange, liquorice, moss and mountain roots. On the palate it enters softly, with balanced sweetness turning into a pleasant, persistent bitter finish, with complex herbal, root and spice notes. Serve neat, with ice, or in cocktails; ideal as a digestif after meals.
