Amaro Meletti 70cl (70cl, 32%)

An Italian aromatic liqueur made by Meletti in Ascoli Piceno, following a recipe created by founder Silvio Meletti at the end of the 19th century. It is based on herbs and spices including wormwood, gentian, clove and bitter orange, macerated to develop its flavour. Dark amber to mahogany in colour, it shows balsamic herbs, cocoa and vanilla on the nose, with balanced sweetness and moderate bitterness on the palate. It can be served neat, with ice or in cocktails.
