Amaro Montenegro (1.5L)

Amaro Montenegro is an Italian herbal liqueur in a 150cl bottle. Its recipe uses 40 botanicals chosen by its founder, Stanislao Cobianchi, among them roots, seeds, spices, woods, flowers, barks, citrus peel and dried fruit. The bottle shape is also his design. It is amber with mahogany reflections. The nose opens with sweet and bitter orange, then mandarin and citron, followed by thyme, marjoram, eucalyptus and incense, ending on toasted, mineral and woodland notes. The palate is soft and silky, balancing sweet and bitter, with a pleasantly bitter finish.
