Amaro Zarri - Villa Zarri (70cl, 35%)

An amaro from Villa Zarri, made by cold alcohol infusion of 28 ingredients including herbs and aromatic roots such as quassia, rhubarb, columbo, wormwood, mint, gentian, liquorice, cinchona, bitter and sweet orange peel and others. The extract is adjusted to 35% vol, filtered and rested for many months in steel. It is dark brown with green-gold reflections. The aroma is broad, with orange peel, rhubarb, mint, gentian, aloe, cinchona bark, walnut husk, liquorice, roasted coffee and officinal herbs. The palate is soft and balanced, with a long finish marked by roasted coffee, liquorice and balsamic notes. It is intended as a digestif.
