An Amarone from Bolla with a deep ruby colour and garnet hints. The nose shows ripe red fruit and cooked plum, with sweet spice, bitter cocoa and light balsamic notes. The palate is full, warm and enveloping, supported by good freshness and sapidity, with a long, dry finish. It suits roast or braised meats, game, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and robust ragù. Decanting or opening in advance is suggested.
