An Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Riserva from Bolla, made from a careful selection of the best grapes and long ageing. It is deep garnet red, with aromas of ripe fruit such as cherries and plums, dark chocolate, vanilla, spices and a hint of tobacco from wood ageing. The palate is full bodied, with velvety, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, with flavours of ripe fruit, chocolate, spices and coffee leading to a long, satisfying finish. It suits rich dishes such as braised meats, stews, game and aged cheeses.
