Amativo Rosso IGT Cantele

A red wine from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes grown in the Guagnano, Sava and San Pietro Vernotico vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand with careful selection of bunches, destemmed and crushed, then macerated on the skins for 12-15 days. After malolactic fermentation it matures in barrique for about 12 months. Deep ruby red with purple reflections, it has aromas of blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant, with notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Full-bodied and structured, with mature tannins and a velvety, harmonious, persistent finish. It pairs well with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
