American Born Apple Pie is a flavoured corn whiskey from Tennessee, bottled at 41.5% in a 75cl mason jar with a custom pour lid. It is made by Windy Hill Spirits of Nashville under the Spirits of Tennessee label.
The base is a 100% corn distillate run through copper pot stills, then flavoured with apple pie spice character. It is made without artificial ingredients or additives.
The nose is tart apple and baked pie crust, with sweet cinnamon and vanilla. The palate brings fresh-pressed apple cider and honey, then warm cinnamon spice. The finish is of moderate length, with a faint bitterness, tart apple skin and a little baking spice.
