Amfora Rebula - Cantina Erzetiĉ

A white wine from Cantina Erzetiĉ, made mainly from Rebula in the Carso wine area between Italy and Slovenia. Its distinctive feature is ageing in terracotta amphora, an ancestral technique that highlights fruit purity and gives a velvety texture, along with a slightly oxidative and mineral character. In the glass it is pale gold, with intense aromas of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is balanced, with pleasant sapidity and a persistent finish recalling stone and the land of origin. It pairs well with oily fish or fresh cheeses.
