Ammunition Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels

This is a straight bourbon from Ammunition, made from a blend of 2, 3 and 4 year old bourbons. It was finished for at least three months in wine barrels that previously held several vintages of Ammunition's Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. The finish adds sweetness and tannin, and the whiskey is dark amber in colour. Expect caramel and butterscotch, followed by vanilla and a hint of richness from the Cabernet Sauvignon French oak.
