Amrut Intermediate Sherry is a cask strength Indian single malt, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It matures in three kinds of cask: ex-bourbon, new oak and Oloroso sherry butts.
It comes from Amrut in Bangalore, the first distillery in India to concentrate on producing genuine single malt. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without added colour.
The character is rich and sweet, with candied notes of Turkish delight and raspberry macaroons.
