This is a peated Indian single malt from Amrut, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is medium peated, without added caramel colouring and without chill-filtration. The whisky matures in bourbon casks in Amrut's warehouses, where the tropical temperatures shape it until bottling. The nose combines fresh oak and vanilla with spicy smoke and hints of citrus, bacon and leather. On the palate layers of peat smoke sit alongside fresh oak. The finish is smoky, with a pronounced malt character and plenty of spice.
