Amrut – Peated (70cl)

Amrut Peated is an Indian single malt from the Bangalore region, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from peated malted barley. The whisky is matured in oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry, and their sweeter notes sit alongside the smoke. The nose combines wood smoke, aromatic herbs and touches of honey. The palate is soft and persistent with an oily feel, and the finish is rounded, recalling peat with some balsamic notes.
