Amrut Portonova is an Indian single malt made in Bangalore, where the tropical climate has a marked effect on maturation. It is matured in special casks and has a deep amber colour. On the nose there are ripe fruit, honey and a delicate touch of vanilla. The palate is soft, with pleasant spice, and the warm finish recalls toasted wood.
