Amrut Single Malt is an Indian single malt whisky from Karnataka, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
It is distilled in Bangalore from 100% Punjab-grown malted barley, double distilled in copper pot stills and matured in the tropical warmth of Bangalore.
The nose is malted barley, caramel, honey, citrus peel and ripe apricot. The palate is rich and grain-forward, with toffee, biscuit, allspice and oak, then tropical fruit and a rum-like richness. The finish is medium to long, with malt, baked apple, greengage and a little spice.
