Ancient Age is a bourbon that has been held in high regard since 1946. It is bottled at 80 proof (40%) and distilled from corn, rye and barley malt.
It is described as smooth and simple, yet robust in its own way.
The aromas are corn, caramel, toffee and vanilla, and the palate follows with much the same, plus a hint of spice. The finish is lingering, with toffee and citrus.
