AnCnoc – Peatheart Batch 3

AnCnoc Peatheart Batch 3 is a smoky single malt whisky from Scotland, named for the peatlands of the Scottish uplands, where peat was long used as fuel to fire the still and dry the barley. The nose opens with a burst of smoke that gives way to ripe pear, apple, lime and a touch of tobacco, with smoky sweetness lasting through. On the palate, smoke mingles with leather and sweet stewed apple, alongside chocolate, vanilla and lemon. The finish has a lingering warmth and a floral smokiness.
