This is a small-batch straight bourbon from Cooperstown Distillery in New York, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
Andre Dawson selected the Cooperstown Select release personally to mark his Hall of Fame career. The distillery uses local New York State grains in a four-grain mash bill of 65% corn with oats, rye and barley, and the bourbon is aged in new charred oak.
Clove and allspice lead the aroma and palate, followed by a gentler finish of burnt caramel, butterscotch and honey.
