Angel's Envy Bottled-in-Bond Cask Strength is a bourbon from Louisville, Kentucky, at 50% ABV (100 proof), in a 750ml bottle. It is made from a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley, and aged for five years and eight months, with a lower barrel entry proof and careful blending. The colour is a toasted gold.
The nose offers lightly caramelised sugar, vanilla wafers and banana pudding. The palate is sweet and rounded, with honey latte, fruit syrup and toasted oak, and the finish is soft and rounded, fading gently.
