- Tawny Port barrel finish
A single barrel Angel's Envy bourbon selected for Sip Whiskey, finished in Tawny Port barrels. It comes from Barrel No. TW-041 and is bottled at 55% vol (110 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The Tawny Port finish adds fruit and nutty notes to the bourbon.
The nose combines sweet red fruit, caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate are fig, dark cherry, baking spice and rich toffee. The finish is long and smooth, with port wine sweetness running through it.
