This is the 12th edition of Angel's Envy Cask Strength, a Kentucky straight bourbon finished in Port wine barrels and bottled at 118.2 proof, in a 75cl bottle. Master Distiller Owen Martin hand-selected the Port barrels, which had been aged for 5 to 9 years, and the bourbon then went through an extended finishing.
On the palate it is creamy, with cherry, caramel and marshmallow. The finish brings baking spice, oak tannins and red wine.
