Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Volume 5 is a straight rye whiskey released in 2025, in a 750ml bottle at 52.1% ABV. It is the fifth Cellar Collection, the first offered nationwide and the first developed entirely under Master Distiller Owen Martin. Straight rye aged for up to seven years was finished for up to twelve months in French oak extra añejo tequila barrels. Martin chose the barrels at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico, together with Patrón's Master Distiller David Rodriguez. The finished rye was then blended with an 11-year-old straight rye. It was distilled in Indiana and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky. The nose is floral and fruity, with toasty vanilla and a little clove smokiness. The palate brings baking spices and cracked pepper, softened by herbal agave syrup, earthy tobacco and brown sugar. The finish is soft, with orange blossom honey, tropical fruit and French oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
