Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Series Vol 5 is a 2025 edition straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 52.1% ABV. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and the whiskey is finished in Patron French Oak Anejo barrels.
The finish is described as bringing an earthy, well-rounded character to the spicy rye. The colour is golden caramel.
The nose is floral and fruit-forward, with toasty vanilla and subtle clove smokiness. On the palate come baking spices and cracked pepper, softened by herbal agave syrup, earthy tobacco and brown sugar. The finish is soft and balanced, with orange blossom honey, tropical fruits and French oak.
