Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Vol. 5 is a limited-edition Kentucky straight rye, bottled at 52.1% ABV (104.2 proof). The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley.
The rye spends 6.5 to 7 years in new charred American oak before a finish of up to 12 months in French oak barrels that previously held Patrón Añejo Tequila. This is the first time the Cellar Collection has used such a finish. It comes in a gift box.
Expect warm baking spices, layered oak and subtle agave notes.
