Angel's Envy Chuck Heavy is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 106 proof in a 750ml bottle. It is a collaboration with the C4 Foundation, a charity that supports Navy SEAL special operations veterans and their families, and the bottle carries a deep etched design made for the Chuck Heavy edition.
The nose is warm caramel, toasted vanilla, maple syrup, charred oak and dark dried fruit. On the palate come brown sugar, cinnamon, honeyed oak, roasted nuts, dark chocolate and a little tobacco. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice, sweet vanilla, leather and toasted caramel.
