Angel's Envy Finished Rye (50%)

Angel's Envy Finished Rye is a rye whiskey finished in Caribbean rum casks for up to 18 months. The team sampled more than 100 rums before choosing the one that suited the raw, spicy and earthy character of the rye. It is bottled at 100 proof (50%). The colour is a reddish amber. The nose offers citrus, caramel candy, maple sugar, vanilla, oak, hazelnut, spice and sherry wood. Sweet rum, sherry wood and soft oak mark the palate, and the finish is both sweet and dry, quick and easy.
