A limited release rye whiskey that combines 7 year old and 11 year old rye. The blend is then finished for up to 12 months in French oak barrels that previously held Patrón Extra Añejo tequila. It is bottled at 52.1% ABV (104.2 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is floral and fruit-forward, with toasty vanilla and a hint of smoky clove. The palate brings baking spices, cracked black pepper, herbal agave, earthy tobacco and brown sugar. The finish carries orange blossom honey, tropical fruit and lingering French oak warmth.
