Angel's Envy Rye is a rye whisky with a high rye content, in a 750ml bottle at 100 proof (50%). It is finished for up to 18 months in Caribbean rum casks that previously held French cognac.
It is a little bolder and more biting than the same maker's bourbon. The nose is rich with vanilla and spice, recalling creme brulee, and the palate is smooth and rich despite the strength.
Tasting Notes
Rich vanilla and spice, like creme brulee
Smooth and rich
