Angel's Envy – Single Barrel Bourbon Finished in Sherry Casks (75cl, 58%)

This Angel's Envy single barrel bourbon is finished in Oloroso sherry and bottled at 58% ABV, or 116 proof, with no water added. The brand's flagship bourbon is finished in Port barrels; this bottling takes a single sherry cask instead. On the nose there is toasted toffee. The mouthfeel is rich and unctuous, which softens some of the heat, and the sherry adds a marked sweetness to the supple bourbon character.
