A single cask Lowland single malt from Annandale, part of the Man O' Words range, from the 2015 vintage. It was matured in a sherry butt and bottled at 60.8% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The butt was sourced directly from José y Miguel Martín SA in Spain and selected by the late Dr Jim Swan. It previously held sherry, rather than being a sherry-conditioned virgin oak cask. Each bottle is marked with its cask and bottle number.
The palate is sweet and well integrated: honey, toffee and vanilla cream, with summer flowers, melon and mango. The finish combines walnuts and almonds with plum and raisin.
