Man O' Words is a four-year-old single cask single malt from Annandale, bottled at a cask strength of 60.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
It matured in an ex-Fino sherry butt, the first time Annandale has bottled whisky from this type of cask. Fino is a dry sherry made from Palomino grapes and aged under a layer of yeast called flor, which keeps it from oxidising.
Annandale was founded in 1836 by George Donald on the River Annan in Dumfriesshire. It closed in 1918 and was revived under new owners in 2014.
