Antica Torino Amaro della Sacra (70cl)

Amaro della Sacra is an herbal amaro from Antica Torino, in a 70cl bottle. It is dedicated to the Sacra di San Michele, the Benedictine abbey above the Val di Susa, and to the monks who shaped the making of wines, beers and spirits. It follows an old Piedmontese recipe. Cinnamon, Madagascan vanilla pods, myrrh resin, roots and barks are macerated in alcohol for about 45 days, then cold-pressed by hand and rested in steel tanks for a further 45 days. Gentian, gentian flowers and hops meet cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, bark and resin on both nose and palate.
