Antica Torino Vermouth Rosso (75cl)

Antica Torino Vermouth Rosso is a traditional red vermouth from Piedmont, made only from natural flavourings and ingredients and suited to classic-style mixed drinks. Thirteen botanicals are used: wormwood, gentian, aloe, rosemary, vanilla, rhubarb, thyme, cumin, bay, ginger, genepy, oregano and grapefruit. They macerate in 96 degree alcohol for 30 days, then are joined to a blend of cane sugar, Moscato must and Trebbiano wine, matured in steel for 45 to 60 days. After filtering and bottling it rests a further 30 to 45 days. Amber with copper reflections, it smells of vanilla and citrus, then rosemary, thyme and oregano. The palate is well structured and slightly sweet, balanced by bitterness, with a long finish of ginger, vanilla and rhubarb.
