This Appleton Estate rum was distilled in Jamaica in 1994 and is part of a collection celebrating the distillery's heritage, with processes dating back to 1749. After long maturation in oak casks, it developed a rich, robust character with notes of vanilla, caramel and a light trace of nutmeg, enriched by ripe tropical fruit and toasted oak. It shows a deep amber colour, an intense olfactory experience and a velvety palate, and is best enjoyed neat at room temperature.
