A Jamaican rum from Appleton Estate, distilled in 1995 and bottled in the He.Collection.
It is aged in oak casks under the Jamaican sun. The nose shows nutmeg, vanilla and a light trace of toffee. The palate is complex, with a balance of sweetness, spice and light astringency, and a long, soft finish.
It is best enjoyed neat or with a cube of ice.
