Ararat Akhtamar 10 Year Old is an Armenian brandy aged for ten years in oak. It is bright amber in colour and comes in a presentation box.
The nose shows dried plum, vanilla and a trace of cinnamon, with bitter chocolate and tobacco behind.
The palate is rich and warm, balancing sweetness and acidity. Ripe figs and plums mingle with honey and vanilla, and a light spiciness carries into the long finish.
