This is a 45 year old blended Scotch whisky, issued as the Year of the Horse 2026 edition. It was distilled on 3 June 1980, matured in a butt and bottled on 10 December 2025 at 47.1%. A total of 275 bottles were filled.
The colour is amber. The nose shows patisserie praline, a little mastic and pistachio oil, green tea and kirsch-laced marzipan. On the palate come chlorophyll, mastic and oranges, and the finish is rather long, creamier and waxier.
