Ardbeg 19 Year Old Traigh Bhan Batch #5 is an Islay single malt from the Ardbeg Traigh Bhan series, a limited batch release that reflects Traigh Bhan beach. It has a smoky, peaty character and was matured in American oak and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is perfumed with tropical fruit, herbal incense and bright citrus. The palate brings smoked mango, creamy vanilla and warm toffee. The finish lingers with dark chocolate and a smoky whisper.
