This is an Ardbeg Islay single malt from the Limited Edition series, distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1998. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and it is heavily peated.
On the nose it shows sweet floral notes of heather and lavender alongside a gentle smokiness. The palate is rich and oily, with pronounced peat, cocoa and oak. The finish is long, with layers of sweetness and peat smoke over subtle vanilla and malt.
