Ardbeg 1977 is a limited edition Islay single malt, distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2001 after 24 years of maturation. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the outturn was 2,400 bottles.
Peat smoke leads, rich and lingering, balanced by a subtle fruity sweetness. Vanilla and honey add warmth and a creamy texture. The finish is medium in length, with a soft vanilla aftertaste and gentle smoke.
